When you grow up with the name Jeremiah you inevitably hear the "Jeremiah Johnson" refrain about once every day. I came to hate that song and that movie and I never saw it. But being named Jeremiah taught me that I only have to depend on myself to be special. I have relied on that lesson through much adversity.
As a freelance writer I do my best to meet the needs of my editors but I also need to write for myself. This blog is one of several where I hope to unload my need to "vent" something for me. I don't mean "vent" as in "he's angry and wants to say something". I just mean let off a little pressure so that I know I am writing for myself somewhere.
My ideas are important to me but I am not trying to save the world from itself. These are experimental articles and you should not read too much into them. I do hope you enjoy reading them.
